1-Year Valley Regional Bus Pass
1-Year Valley Regional Bus Pass
A one-year bus pass provides access to all of Ada and Canyon County through Valley Regional Transit's bus system. The one-year bus pass frees up a year of commuting time to relax with a book, podcast, etc. during your daily commute.
Once you select “Purchase,” you’ll have the option to receive your pass via digital delivery to the Umo App or existing City Go Smartcard, or as a new City Go Smartcard delivered to Downtown Boise or picked up at Main Street Station.
Local
This pass gives you access to all local city routes. The Local pass works great if you travel within one county during your commute.
Universal
A universal pass provides access to all local city and intercounty routes. This pass is for those who commute between counties and plan to use routes 40, 43, or 45.
Obtaining and Using Your Pass
Once you complete your purchase, Customer Service will issue your pass on the method you selected—either Umo Mobility App Digital Code or City Go Smartcard. The pass can be picked up at Main Street Station or, if you selected “Delivery,” it can be dropped off at your workplace in Downtown Boise. If you select Umo Mobility App Digital Code, a redemption code will be emailed to you.
To use your pass, simply tap the card on the new validators on all Valley Regional Transit buses. The validator will “ding” and a green light will blink at the top, signaling that you may proceed to your seat on the bus.
