Bus to Glide on Grove

Getting to Glide on Grove by bus is a breeze!

Follow these steps to get to and from the Grove, and save yourself $$$ (unless you spend it all shopping, of course!):

  1. Download the Umo Mobility App (Google Store/Apple Store) and buy a day pass ($2.50) or purchase a day pass on the bus with cash and change.

  2. Find your route in the app or online (check out route details below)

  3. Walk to your stop- or drive to your Park-n-Ride.

  4. Hop on the bus and scan your pass.

  5. Enjoy the ride and all that Downtown Boise has to offer!!!

Downtown Boise’s newest planned attraction, Glide on Grove, is an all inclusive, and completely FREE activity for the entire community to enjoy.

The skate rink will encompass the City of Boise’s holiday tree each year from Thanksgiving weekend through the last Sunday in January, creating a magical, seasonal destination for all.


That's right, FREE!

Thanks to all of our sponsors, partners, and supports, especially Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health, Inc. & Idaho Central Credit Union, the skate rink is completely FREE to the public to enjoy.

Opening will be at the FREE Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday night, November 24, 2023 at 6:00pm and will run through the end of January 2024.
